Today, traffic has opened on the Yalta Ring along Second Defense Street — towards Sapun Mountain. This is the first stage of final work at the traffic intersection. This was announced by Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev.
Reconstruction of the Yalta Ring is one of the largest infrastructure facilities in Sevastopol. Construction is on schedule. A culvert system, additional exits, and the lower layer of the road surface were installed on the site along Vtoraya Oborona Street , the head of the city noted.
The next stage of work will be the construction of a road surface on the site towards Yalta. It is planned to partially open the ring in this direction before October 1.
It is assumed that the entire range of works on the Yalta Ring will be completed in May 09 of the year. Until that time, it is planned to install noise barriers, bus stops, footpaths and sidewalks.
Recall that as part of the work on the 8th stage of the Tavrida highway, the construction of the first stage of the overpass across Neftyanaya Street and the overpass across the railway tracks was completed. Arrangement of transport interchanges, outdoor lighting and improvement of the right of way is ongoing at the facility.
