On Victory Day, the Black Sea Fleet congratulated veterans of the Great Patriotic War in Sevastopol

In Sevastopol, veterans of the Great Patriotic War living in all districts of the city received congratulations on Victory Day from the Black Sea Fleet.

Throughout the festive day, during the “Victory Car” action, specially equipped vehicles from formations and units of the fleet cruised around the city, broadcasting congratulations to veterans and front-line songs from the Great Patriotic War.

According to a separate plan, the actions “Parade to every yard” were held, during which solemn passages of guard of honor companies, orchestras and military personnel of formations and units of the Black Sea Fleet were organized for veterans at their place of residence— the press service of the Southern Military District reports.

The parade crew of the Sevastopol Regiment of the National Guard Troops also took part in the action «Parade at the Veteran’s House».

Recall that the tradition of congratulating veterans on Victory Day by holding parades near their homes has existed in Sevastopol since 2014.
