On World Tour Guide Day, Sevastopol guides were awarded certificates of advanced training

Today, February 21, is World Tour Guide Day. The head of the tourism department of Sevastopol, Larisa Ostapenko, congratulated the guides on their professional holiday and presented the specialists with certificates of successful completion of the training.
86 Sevastopol guides took free advanced training courses, and 14 of them passed the final exams with excellent marks. I was glad to hear a lot of positive feedback about the high interest and activity of the guides in training. Also today a videoconference was held for tour operators of the Nizhny Novgorod region and Sevastopol.
The meeting was attended by five tour operators of Sevastopol and four tour operators of the Nizhny Novgorod region. Entrepreneurs presented opportunities for recreation in the regions. Thanks to the active work of tour operators, it becomes possible to show the versatility of the tourism potential of the two subjects, thereby contributing to their promotion— notes the head of the tourism department of Sevastopol.
The online meeting was held as part of an agreement between Sevastopol and the Nizhny Novgorod region. The main goal is to share existing practices, promote tourism products developed in the regions, build partnerships between representatives of the hospitality industry.
