One can be envious: how activists of the Sevastopol Center for Communication of the Older Generation spent their summer
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Since October 2023, the Senior Generation Communication Center has been operating at the Sevastopol Branch of the Social Fund of Russia, where 153 events have been held with the support of the Branch’s social partners.
This summer the Communication Center program was rich and interesting. Activists improved their health, conducted creative master classes, studied ballroom dancing, and took walks around the city’s memorable places. The first day of summer began with a holiday. Participants of the Center for Communication of Older People and members of the Dobro.Center “Young at Heart” organization organized a real carnival for Sevastopol kids on Children’s Day. At weekly classes, the Lada dance group prepared for the anniversary of the creation of the Center. The group members were learning a dance — a majestic polonaise, which is planned to open the holiday. The creative group “Evolution” shared the secrets of craftsmanship in knitting amulets, weaving stylish handbags and hats, — noted in the press service of the SFR Branch of the Russian Federation for Sevastopol.
In the assembly hall of the SFR Branch in Sevastopol, lectures on physical activity for various diseases were held on Wednesdays. After the theoretical part of the lecture, the participants practiced breathing exercises, exercises for the cervical spine and neurogymnastics, which helped improve blood circulation.
There is still a lot of useful things ahead: classes on computer, pension and financial literacy, creative activities and meetings with interesting people. We invite Sevastopol pensioners to visit our Center and become its participants.
The plan of events, addresses and work schedule of the Center can be found on the website of the SFR Branch for Sevastopol: https://sfr.gov.ru/branches/sevastopol.
