One of the kindergartens in Sevastopol is a finalist of the All-Russian competition for inclusive education

The second federal stage of the IX All-Russian competition «The Best Inclusive School of Russia — 2022» has ended. Sevastopol Kindergarten No. 131 became the winner in the nomination «Best Inclusive Kindergarten».

A unique system of preschool special education is being formed in Sevastopol, which is characterized, on the one hand, by the guaranteed achievement of the results recorded in the federal state educational standard for preschool education, on the other hand, by the understanding that each pupil is unique, in each child there is a significant potential that the educator must see and develop. This is especially true for children with special educational needs , — the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes Stanislav Feoktistov, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Science of Sevastopol.

Kindergarten No. 131 has been working with children with severe speech disorders for more than 30 years in a preschool institution groups of compensating orientation. In 2017 a group was opened for children with special educational needs who have disorders of the musculoskeletal system, autism spectrum disorders, mental retardation, mental retardation and other organic disorders.

To date, correctional work has covered 26 children with severe speech disorders and disabled children. Highly professional specialists of various profiles work with the pupils: pedagogues-psychologists, a social pedagogue, speech therapists, a teacher-defectologist, a music director, an instructor in adaptive physical education.

Our specialists have repeatedly become winners and prize-winners of the regional stage and laureates of all-Russian competitions of professional skills. I am proud that we brought the first victory of professional skills to the city of Sevastopol, and our teacher-defectologist Elena Ivanovna Arkhipova took third place in the All-Russian competition «Teacher-defectologist 2022 of the year ,» notes head of the preschool institution Irina Bliznyuk.

Kindergarten No. 131 will represent Sevastopol at the full-time stage of the All-Russian competition «The Best Inclusive School in Russia — 2022», which will be held in Moscow from 26 to 28 October.

Recall that the organizer of the competition is the Ministry of Education of Russia. The event is aimed at increasing the activity of educational organizations in the development and implementation of inclusive education, at supporting innovative developments and technologies in the organization of the educational process of students with disabilities and disabilities, and approving the priorities of education in society. Every year, the competition brings together the best inclusive practices and educational technologies and is held in order to analyze the existing practice of inclusive education in educational institutions of the country.
