Only 498 children of migrants (17%) out of 2868 submitted applications were allowed for the Russian language exam. In particular, according to the document, the personal data of the child and his parents will be transferred to law enforcement officers, information about the appeal to the educational organization of foreign citizens included in the register of controlled persons, enrollment and deductions from it, as well as test results.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs, in turn, will provide education management bodies with information about registration or registration of children of foreign citizens— added Volodin.
According to Volodin, all this will promptly exchange information about the legality of finding the child and his parents in the territory of the Russian Federation, which will also depend on the adoption of further decisions.
In addition, the identification of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the children of migrants that have not been received at schools will allow them to warn them from involvement in illegal activities, protect them from rash acts— the State Duma speaker emphasized.
He noted that the law adopted earlier at the initiative of deputies, which is prohibited from enrolling in schools of children of migrants without knowledge of the Russian language and checking the legality of their location in Russia, proved his effectiveness in two months.
So, according to Volodin, only 4%were accepted from the total number of those who declared for testing in schools.
As of May 22, 2868 applications for participation in testing were submitted, 498 people (17%) were allowed to the exam— he specified.
Volodin also noted that a new bill is proposed to enter information about the results of testing for knowledge of the Russian language of all foreign citizens to the federal information system.
