Operation “Debtor” took place on the roads of Crimea. First results

The Crimean State Traffic Inspectorate is summing up the results of measures to collect administrative fines in the field of road safety. From September 18 to 22 and from September 25 to 29, a set of preventive measures was carried out on the roads of Crimea under the code name “Debtor”.

During the implementation of the measures, employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate, together with employees of public order protection units, processed 980 addresses of persons who voluntarily did not pay fines within the period established by law, and handed over 751 notices of the need to pay the fine. During these events, 3,188 individuals voluntarily paid fines in excess of 2.5 million rubles— reported the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Crimea.

In addition, 806 protocols were drawn up under Part 1 of Art. 20.25 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation for failure to pay an administrative fine within the period established by law. During the investigation of the residential addresses of persons who did not surrender their driver’s licenses, 307 relevant documents were confiscated.

Also, as part of a set of preventive measures, employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Crimea, together with employees of the State Administration of the Federal Bailiff Service of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, carried out raids to identify drivers who have debts on administrative fines through the traffic police, taxes and unpaid loans. The activities were carried out using the Road Bailiff complex, which uses a vehicle license plate recognition system and compares the owner’s full name with the FSSP databasenoted the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Crimea.

Based on the results of the work, 32 arrests of vehicles were made as part of enforcement proceedings. As a result of the seizure, 27 debtors paid debts on the same day for a total amount of more than 1.1 million rubles. 14 vehicles were seized by bailiffs for the purpose of their subsequent forced sale to pay off the debt.

In total, during the “Debtor” operation, 1,196,128 rubles were collected.
