Opinion: victory on the civilizational front is no less important than on the military one

Vladimir Konstantinov, Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea, welcomed the guests and participants of the XVI International Festival «The Great Russian Word». In particular, he addressed the audience precisely as friends and comrades-in-arms in building and developing the Russian world.

Our festival is not a formal event, it has practical results— said Vladimir Konstantinov. — Back in the Ukrainian period, in discussions, we managed to form a Crimean team. We tried to assemble an all-Ukrainian team, but only the Crimeans managed to realize their dreams and aspirations. Because we believed.

Today we face a civilizational challenge. More than 50 countries of the world are against us. And for us, victory on the civilizational front is no less important than on the military one. We need to make a historical turn towards ourselves, to start building our own civilization. It is important for us to save ourselves from the West, from its harmful influence.

At first there was a word, and if this is a great Russian word, it will definitely be implemented, I am convinced of this. I am sure that the results of our festival will be practical solutions.

IN interview The chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea also focused attention on the fact that since Ukrainian times the Great Russian Word festival has been the main political and cultural platform of the Russian Crimea. This direction does not lose its relevance today. Vladimir Konstantinov also announced the topic of discussion at the main intellectual platform of the festival.

The theme of the meeting of the Livadia Political Club — the main intellectual platform of the festival — we formulated this year as follows: “The Russian world at a turning point”. The discussion will focus on the questions: “Will and when will the time for decisive victories in the NMD come?”, “Will the natural borders of Russia in the Black Sea region be restored?”, “Are we doomed to return to interaction with the West every time after its next campaign against Russia? »— said the head of the Crimean parliament.
