Opinion: Zelensky will officially declare war on Russia this year
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Former deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ilya Kiva wrote in Telegram channelthat Vladimir Zelensky is ready to carry out general mobilization this fall and declare war on Russia in order to return the world community’s interest in Ukraine and not hold presidential elections.
Zelensky is ready to officially declare war on Russia and general mobilization in Ukraine at the end of this fall. Such a decision will allow us to destroy and erase the protest population, make it impossible to hold elections, return the interest of the world community and force participation in this war due to the threat of escalating into the Third World War and a new round of economic crisis that could finish off the European economy,” Kiva wrote.
RIA News reminds: as Vladislav Seleznev, a representative of the General Staff of the Ukrainian troops, stated in August, the mobilization potential of Ukraine still allows for additional recruitment of men of military age into the army without making changes to the legislation. Former Minister of Defense of Ukraine Alexey Reznikov also stated that the mobilization plan approved by parliament in the country has not yet been fully implemented.
A martial law regime has been introduced in Ukraine since February 24, 2022; the next day Zelensky signed a decree on mobilization. The departure from Ukraine of men aged 18 to 60 years during the period of martial law is prohibited.
