The Governor of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhaev, instructed to start the heating season on 21 October.
I read last night and this morning a lot of your messages about heating. Decided to start heating today. Such instructions were given to the Department of Municipal Economy and Sevteploenergo. Boiler rooms and heating systems are ready for the season, tests have been carried out. This was reported to me yesterday at a meeting of the Government , — the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the governor.
The head of the city recalled that a decision had been made the day before to start the heating season on November 1. According to the regulations, heat supply starts when the average daily temperature does not rise above +8 degrees for five days. The governor also noted that each day of the heating season, which began earlier than the normative deadline, is a significant additional budget expenditure that is not covered by the tariff.
Nevertheless, I always try to rely not on standards, but on reality. Moreover, I myself live in a Stalinist building with central heating. It’s bearable at home, but it’s definitely not comfortable anymore , says Mikhail Razvozhaev.
