Over 1,500 spectators attended the premiere concerts of the Nature of Art Festival in blooming roses at the Nikitsky Botanical
CrimeaPRESS reports:
On the first weekend of summer, June 3 and 4, the new rose garden of the Nikitsky Botanical Garden hosted the triumphant continuation of the Nature of Art Festival, a large-scale cultural project of the team of the legendary Sevastopol Ball. Surrounded by a unique collection of hundreds of varieties of selective roses, two fantastic performance concerts took place: «Opera and Ballet» and «Jazz and Latin». They were visited by more than 1,500 spectators — guests from Sevastopol, Crimea and different regions of Russia: they enjoyed the beauty of nature and art — music, dance and each other, took pictures and tried the unique pink ice cream in the Blooming Buffet from the Snezhinka Art Cafe.
The first event that opened the second season of the Nature of Art Festival was the concert-performance Opera and Ballet. Among the riot of aromas and colors of blooming roses under the azure southern sky, the music of Verdi, Strauss, Mozart, Kalman, Rossini, Lehar, Tchaikovsky, Rimsky-Korsakov, Borodin and other great composers sounded. Opera, dancing, brilliant artists, beautiful and happy people — this is how this summer began. On this day, on the stage surrounded by flowers, shone: the soloist of the Crimean State Philharmonic Dinara Khafizova (soprano), the Honored Artist of Crimea Denis Benko (tenor), the bright Sevastopol singer Artem Fedorov and the incomparable Server Kadirov (bass). The dance parts were performed by the soloists of the Black Sea State Ensemble Sergey Khrapin and Yana Kolmogorova. Ballroom couples, participants of the Sevastopol Ball, who created live scenes from famous operas and operettas, became the decoration of the performance.
On June 4, the second concert of the Nature of Art Festival took place — Jazz and Latina. This evening, the blooming rose garden filled with fireworks of favorite compositions of the great masters Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington, Nat King Cole, Perry Como and many other legendary jazz performers. For several hours, a celebration of love, beauty and creativity reigned here, the anthem of which was the eternal song of Edith Piaf «Life in Rose».
On this day, the hearts of the audience were conquered by the star musical ensemble: jazz trio «A3» — Andrey Rybalchenko (piano), Andrey Aminov (guitar), Andrey Degurko (drums), Viktor Nikulin (saxophone), Maxim Perov (trumpet), Alexander Popov ( guitar). The vocal parts were performed by Anna Shakel, Oksana Ferenchuk (Rostov), CCU Plum Romay Diaz (Cuba) and a special guest — US jazz showman Stephen Mitchell (New York).
A truly hot Latin character was given to the event by incendiary dances from the leaders of the Nature of Art Festival, Dmitry Platov and Ekaterina Grafodatskaya, who were gladly joined by the guests of the event, who arranged an impromptu dance floor on the paths of the rose garden. At the end of the concert, the entire «blooming hall» sang the incredible song of Alla Pugacheva «A Million Scarlet Roses», which here sounded like a prayer of love and beauty.
The Nature of Art festival for me personally is a huge gratitude to Crimea for its nature and beauty. I was born here and I really like that nature, art and an absolutely endless variety of magnificent places are so successfully intertwined in this project. All of them are unique, each has its own image and dictates the nature of the program.
The premiere concerts of this season were held in the rose garden of the Nikitsky Botanical Garden, which for the first time opened its doors especially for the guests of our festival. The sea, roses, birds singing, songs sounding from the stage in unison with them — freedom of creativity, love, joy of life reign here today, the soul flies here. This is how we want to see Crimea, because Crimea is a paradise and let it have a “Life in Pink”— notes the author and head of the Nature of Art Festival Ekaterina Grafodatskaya.
The next concerts of the festival will take place in the lavender fields of the village. The exact date of the events is being specified and will be announced later. You can find all the details about upcoming concerts on the website. sevbal.ru and in the project team in social networks «VKontakte». Also in the plans of the Sevastopol Ball team are concerts in hemp fields, vineyards and on the seashore.
It should be noted that the concerts of the Nature of Art Festival in blooming roses were held with the information support of the Government of the city of Yalta, the Nikitsky Botanical Garden and the Sevastopol FM radio station.
REFERENCE
The Nature of Art Festival is a unique project that combines the beauty of nature and art in one ensemble. It is dedicated to the great Russian artist Ivan Konstantinovich Aivazovsky. His creative concept is to present a gallery of «living» paintings in the natural picturesque scenery of the Crimea.
Musical, dance and theatrical performances in open natural venues — in blossoming peach orchards, in lavender fields, in blooming roses, in hemp fields, in vineyards and on the seashore — become new cultural spaces and a source of incomparable aesthetic sensations and impressions.
The festival premiered in 2022. In three most beautiful places — in cherry orchards, lavender fields and on the seashore — 10 classical, jazz and children’s events were held, bringing together more than 5 thousand guests, including very young ones, who became participants in theatrical and musical performances: «Alice in the country Miracles» and «Humpbacked Horse».
