Over 10 years, the volume of state support for the development of the republic’s viticulture industry has increased 11 times, from 78.3 million in 2014 to more than 870 million in 2023.
During this period, thanks to state subsidies, more than 9 thousand hectares of young vineyards were planted. Every year from 2014 to 2023, winegrowers increased the planting of young vineyards, so, if in 2014 the planting of young vineyards amounted to 250 hectares, then in 2023, winegrowers planted an area of more than 2 thousand hectares, — the press service of the First Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Crimea quotes Alima Zaredinova.
Alime Zaredinova also recalled that several major investment projects in this industry were implemented in Crimea from 2014 to 2023. For example, since 2016, Invest-alko LLC has been implementing a project to develop and establish vineyards, orchards and fruit plantations, growing fruit and vegetable products and fresh fruits, and since 2019, Rustika LLC has been implementing a project to organize modern agricultural production of technical grapes. Our Crimea LLC is implementing a project to develop viticulture in the Republic of Crimea, Koktebel Vintage Wine Factory LLC is implementing a project to develop winemaking. Such investment projects, among other things, help not only to develop this area and plant new vineyards. Thanks to their implementation, new jobs are appearing in the republic. Also, the First Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Crimea recalled that 30 enterprises produce wine products in the republic, 26 of them have their own raw material base.
