Over 12,500 Crimeans and guests of the peninsula became spectators of the All-Russian action «Cinema Night». This was announced by the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Crimea Tatyana Manezhina.
Commenting on the results of the campaign, the head of the republican department noted that this year the shows were organized at 84 venues in almost all regions of the republic: Armyansk, Evpatoria, Bakhchisarai, Simferopol, Kerch, Yalta, Feodosia, Alupka, Alushta, Saki, Simeiz, Gurzuf, Saki , Belogorsky, Bakhchisarai, Simferopol, Razdolnensky, Dzhankoysky, Chernomorsky, Leninsky, Sovetsky, Kirovsky, Nizhnegorsky districts.
Viewers in all corners of the country were able to watch the new, highest-grossing films of 2023 at the same time — Dmitry Dyachenko’s Cheburashka, Klim Shipenko’s The Challenge and Sergey Ursulyak’s The Righteous.
Showings of famous Russian films and new films took place in the evening in cinemas, museums, libraries, houses of culture, rural clubs. Along with film screenings, a number of different exciting and educational events were held. For viewers of all ages, cultural workers prepared quizzes, competitions, festive concert programs, exhibitions, master classes, games, quests, beating films that the audience came to watch. Adults were expected to see exhibitions of books about cinematography, photographs and paintings, informative stories about cinema and favorite actors,” said Tatyana Manezhina.
The most massive film visits took place in Saki, where 820 spectators gathered in the amphitheater on the restored embankment, and 738 people watched films in the Intersettlement Center for Culture of Arts and Folk Art of the Saki District.
The open-air cinema, located in front of the Crimean Republican Library for Youth, has become a platform for viewing the highest-grossing picture of domestic cinema — the film «Cheburashka». The atmosphere of a real film show was created by twilight, a bright picture and the aroma of popcorn, which was received by each participant who presented an advertising flyer. The audience not only enjoyed the world of cinema, but also got the opportunity to test their knowledge and erudition during the multimedia quiz «Cheburashka: he was ours, but became universal.» Also, the participants of the film meeting in an interactive discussion discussed the versatility and originality of Russian cinema, its impact on world cinema and culture in general. For fans of cinema, a book exhibition on the history of cinema and an art exhibition designed for the 100th anniversary of Mikhail Pugovkin were organized.
Readers and guests of the Crimean Republican Children’s Library. V.N. Orlova watched the feature film «Cheburashka», got acquainted with the book exhibition «I love cinema» and took part in a fun photo session depicting the main character of the film.
In the Historical Museum of the Sudak Fortress Museum-Reserve, thematic scenery, colorful photo zones, an impromptu film set with stage costumes, as well as a red carpet were decorated, which allowed everyone to feel part of a rich and multifaceted cinematic environment. Aleksey Kazantsev, a guide, led through the pages of the history of domestic films shot in Sudak and its environs, introducing the exposition of the exhibition «Sudak and Cinema». After a fascinating excursion into the cinematographic past of the city, the participants of the action watched the film «Cheburashka».
