Over 126 thousand young Crimeans have rested during the first shifts in the camps of the peninsula

In total, it is planned that 190 thousand young Crimeans will be covered by all forms of health improvement in the Republic. This was reported by the Minister of Education, Science and Youth of the Republic of Crimea Valentina Lavrik during a live broadcast organized by the Regional Management Center of the Republic of Crimea.

The summer health campaign started on June 1. We have 34 country camps, 358 day camps and 486 day thematic sites. Children have a good opportunity not only to improve their health, but also to take programs that provide patriotic and spiritual-moral education– Valentina Lavrik emphasized.

During the broadcast, the Minister of Education, Science and Youth of the Republic of Crimea spoke about the work to attract teachers to rural schools. Valentina Lavrik specified that in the cities of Dzhankoy, Krasnoperekopsk, Dzhankoysky, Krasnoperekopsky, Sovetsky, Razdolnensky districts, teachers are provided with land plots and service housing free of charge, and the program «Zemsky Teacher» is being implemented in the republic.

Since January 2020, 102 teachers have come to us under this program. We are now expecting five more teachers by September 1– Valentina Lavrik clarified.

During a live broadcast organized by the Regional Management Center of the Republic of Crimea, the Minister of Education, Science and Youth of Crimea answered questions about the modernization and construction of new schools, spoke about social support measures and payments to teachers, and explained the procedure for submitting applications to schools and kindergartens.
