Over 280 thousand Crimeans have been immunized against influenza since the start of the vaccination campaign

CrimeaPRESS reports:

More than 280 thousand Crimeans have been immunized against influenza since the beginning of the vaccination campaign. The Minister of Health of the Republic of Crimea Konstantin Skorupsky spoke about this.

Since the beginning of September 2023, 280,627 people have been vaccinated against influenza in the Republic of Crimea, of which 210,912 are adults and 69,715 are children. To immunize the population, domestically produced drugs are used — the quadrivalent vaccines «Ultrix quadrivalent» and «Grippol quadrivalent», as well as the trivalent vaccine «Sovigripp»said the minister.

Let us remind you that in order to create collective immunity in 2023 in Crimea, it is planned to vaccinate 1,092,000 people against influenza, of which 811,494 adults and 280,506 children.

You can get immunized at the nearest clinic; the addresses of vaccination points are available on the website of the Crimean Ministry of Health. Mobile vaccination points operate in Simferopol, Yevpatoriya and Dzhankoy.

For organized vaccination of work collectives at their workplaces, heads of organizations or enterprises should contact the administration of the nearest clinic to make a preliminary agreement on the date of departure of the mobile team of medical workers.

It is necessary to be vaccinated against influenza before the seasonal rise in the incidence of ARVI, that is, until the end of autumn. We urge Crimeans not to delay going to a medical organization and protect their health through immunization. Experience shows that vaccination avoids severe complications of influenza if infected.noted Konstantin Skorupsky.

Vaccine prevention of the new coronavirus infection also continues in Crimea. The Republican Ministry of Health purchased the drug “Sputnik Light”. The received batch will be distributed to medical organizations.
