Over 380 thousand Crimeans received (will receive) financial aid due to the November disaster

CrimeaPRESS reports:

All victims should receive the money by March.

The Head of the Republic of Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, informed about the expansion of the emergency zone that arose as a result of the disaster in November 2023. According to him, the decision to adjust the boundaries of the emergency zone was made after working out all the controversial issues raised in the appeals of citizens affected by bad weather who had no power supply for more than a day in a row.

The borders were adjusted in the Bakhchisarai, Belogorsk, Dzhankoy, Nizhnegorsk and Simferopol regions, as well as in the cities of Saki and Simferopol. Adjustments are being made to reflect the fair situation that existed in the Republic on November 26 last year– said the Head of Crimea.

As a result, another 16.5 thousand Crimeans will be able to receive one-time financial assistance in the amount of 10 thousand rubles. The total number of positive decisions in the Republic of Crimea was 380,926.

According to the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea, Yuri Gotsanyuk, additional budgetary funds for compensation will be allocated in full, and the work on payments as a whole is planned to be completed by March 1.

At the same time, Sergei Aksyonov noted the unsatisfactory organization of procedures for compensation payments and resolving controversial issues in a number of municipalities.

Not all heads of municipal administrations and heads of regional branches of the State Unitary Enterprise of the Republic of Crimea «Krymenergo» coped with the work on time. I believe that these officials should be subject to disciplinary action.said the Head of Crimea.

Sergei Aksyonov expressed hope that the decisions taken will help completely resolve the situation resulting from the disaster.
