Over a hundred people received medical assistance on the highway «Crimea — Rostov-on-Don»

Ambulance teams are on duty on the way to Crimea or from Crimea in places where cars are congested. According to operational data, 106 people have turned to doctors, including 12 children. The duty of doctors on the highway «Crimea — Rostov-on-Don» was organized on behalf of the Minister of Health of the Russian Federation Mikhail Murashko.
Of the hundreds who applied, seven tourists needed hospitalization, including two children. They treat mainly with mild diseases: SARS, heat stroke, poisoning, injuries. Hospitalization was required for several victims in an accident, a patient with epilepsy, a man after a snake bite, several citizens with gastroenteritis. The rest of those who applied for help were provided on an outpatient basis.— said Alexei Kuznetsov, Assistant to the Minister of Health of the Russian Federation.
Medical assistance along the route of tourists along the land route (bypassing the Crimean bridge) is organized under the coordination of the Federal Center for Disaster Medicine of the Ministry of Health of Russia.
Earlier, the availability and quality of medical care along the Crimea-Rostov-on-Don highway was personally checked by Sergey Bagnenko, chief freelance specialist in emergency medical care of the Russian Ministry of Health. By car, the specialist drove from Rostov-on-Don to the Crimea and gave an expert assessment.
At all points along the route, we examined the emergency departments of key hospitals. Assessed the capabilities of mobile ambulance teams. There are enough specialists, the necessary equipment and preparations are available. Stops for refueling, sanitation and rest are available along the way— said Sergey Bagnenko.
