Over a thousand Sevastopol teachers took advantage of the right and retired early
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Teachers of general education institutions who have a long teaching experience can retire early. In Sevastopol, 1030 teachers used this right. For early retirement, Sevastopol teachers must have at least 25 years of teaching experience in certain institutions* and in certain positions*.
When the required teaching experience is reached and the required amount of pension coefficients is available, teachers will be able to apply for an insurance pension after the expiration of the period set in the transition period. For example, if a teacher has gained the required experience in 2022, he will be able to retire in 2026, and if the experience is completed in 2023, in 2028.
It should be noted that starting from September 01, 2000, in order to receive an early pension for teaching experience, Sevastopol teachers must work out the norm of working time (teaching load) established for the rate. This requirement does not apply to primary school teachers.
When calculating the required duration of special experience, it includes not only periods of pedagogical work, but also periods of vocational training and additional professional education. The main thing is that at this time the employee retains the workplace (position) and the average salary, and the employer deducts contributions for compulsory pension insurance.
The SFR branch in Sevastopol appeals to teachers who plan to retire early. In order to ensure the timely appointment of an insurance pension, the Fund’s specialists carry out early work on the assessment of pension rights. You can contact the SFR customer service two years before the expected date of the early retirement.
