The certificate for maternal (family) capital has been issued proactively from April 2020. The second most popular direction was education. More than 8.1 thousand Sevastopol families sent funds to pay for the training of older children, to stay babies in kindergartens, training in the city’s driving schools, etc. More than 711 million rubles were spent on these purposes.

In addition, maternity capital was used to solve the housing issue — more than 6 thousand Sevastopol families allocated capital for the purchase or construction of housing, including paid the initial mortgage contribution or repaid the housing loan and interest on it. In just five years, more than 3.9 billion rubles went to these purposes for these purposes.
