Marriage in the Crimea became more frequent.
For seven months of 2023, the registry offices of the Republic of Crimea registered 10,843 birth certificates and 7,064 marriage registrations. The Registry Office Department of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Crimea notes that this year the figures for two types of civil status acts are significantly higher than in the past, when there were 9,547 births and 5,847 marriages over the same period.
From January to July 2023, children were most often registered in July — 1,717 certificates were issued, in March — 1,665 and in May — 1,608, marriages were also registered more often in July — 1,660 new families were created, in June — 1,383 and April — 1020.
In terms of births, over the 7 months of this year, there were far fewer newborn boys than girls: 4,970 and 5,531. In addition, 97 twins and 4 triplets were registered.— said in the Republican Ministry of Justice.
