Over six months, non-cash payments were used in Sevastopol almost 70 million times

Number of transactions with bank cards for the first half of 2023 in the region has grown by 27% compared to the same period last year. The share of non-cash payments for goods and services exceeded 92%.
From January to July, residents and guests of the hero city paid with bank cards more than 69 million times. The total amount of such operations almost reached 40 billion rubles. As of July 1, 2023, more than 15 thousand ATMs and electronic terminals were installed in Sevastopol, which is 11% higher than the same figure last year. There are 35 payment infrastructure devices per 1,000 citizens,” noted the press service of the Sevastopol Branch of the Southern Main Directorate of the Bank of Russia.
The number of payment cards during the period under review increased by 19%. As of July 1, 914 thousand cards were issued in Sevastopol.
