CrimeaPRESS reports:

On September 15, the head of the Federal Tax Service of Russia for the city of Sevastopol, Alexey Mogila, took part in a meeting of the presidium of the Union “Regional Association of Employers “Sevastopol Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs”. In his speech, the head of the tax service of Sevastopol reported on the current situation regarding budget execution. According to Alexey Mogila, over the past 5 years, taxpayers in Sevastopol have transferred 99.5 billion rubles in taxes and fees to the consolidated budget of the country.

The dynamics of revenues reflect the state of the region’s economy and its development trends. On average, the city annually provides about 15% increase in revenue. The exception is the “Covid” year 2020, when all efforts of the national and city governments were aimed at preserving businesses, which were provided with all kinds of support measures. In 2022, the consolidated budget of Russia received 2.5 billion rubles, of which 1.2 billion went to the city treasury. Enterprises — members of the Union organization “Regional Association of Employers “Sevastopol Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs” provided 9.6% of total revenues in the region and 6.6% to the city budget.

The head of the Department emphasized that the Federal Tax Service has taken a focus on maximum transparency of control activities and clarified that the use of a risk-based approach when conducting on-site tax audits reduces the number of audits, and as a result, the administrative burden on business is reduced. At the same time, one of the key tasks is to coordinate the interests of the state and the business community. The Tax Service has implemented technical solutions that serve to improve tax administration and introduce digital technologies at all stages of communication with taxpayers.
