Over the past ten days in the Crimea, new contaminants of fuel oil have not been revealed

The event was held in a video conference under the leadership of the Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Vitaly Savelyev.

It is reported that the work of the combined group of divers in the search and lifting of a fuel oil in the coastal zone of the Krasnodar Territory continues. Divers, under the leadership of the FSBI «Sea Rescue Service», a total of 1,071 tons of soil soil was collected. At the same time, divers regularly conduct inspections of sunken fragments.

During his report, Sergei Aksyonov emphasized that after the spill of oil products last December, a stable positive situation remains in the republic.

The situation in the Crimea is calm. From June 6 to June 16, not a single fuel oil in the water area was revealed on the shore. Daily monitoring for emissions continues, including groups of drones and helicopters of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation and the Russian Guard— said the head of Crimea.

Sergei Aksyonov added that the situation in the Crimea is under the full control of the authorities, additional assistance is not required.

The meeting was also attended by Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea Mikhail Nazarov.

According to the Ministry of Emergencies of Russia on the morning of June 16, about 255 kilometers of the coast were cleared in the Republic of Crimea, more than 887 tons of sand and soil contaminated with fuel oil were collected.
