Over the past two weeks, civil registry offices in Crimea have registered 548 births and 557 marriages. This was reported by the Republican Ministry of Justice.
The reporting period was distinguished by such a large number of marriages because of the “mirror” date — December 23, 2023, when, we recall, there were a large number of weddings and, in general, because of the desire of lovers to become spouses in the past yearthe message says.
The most births were in Simferopol — 157, in the Simferopol region — 53, in Yalta — 37, in Kerch and Evpatoria — 27 each, in Alushta — 20. There were more newborn boys than girls: 281 and 267. 9 twins were also registered and 76 paternity determinations, most during birth registration.
Names for newborn children were most often given the same as usual, and among the rare ones were: Reanna, Augustin, Arkhip, Saveliy, Yan, Jasmine, Gordey, Sargis, Abdulhamid, Noman, Sebiye, Safiya, Agnia, Levon, Tigran, Leo, Olivia, Halisa, Paulina, Jonah, Yamina, Sevinch, Zamfira, Seitennan, Ailiz, Archana (male), Henri, Ilaria.
At the same time, the most marriages were also in Simferopol — 86, in Yalta — 62, in the Simferopol region — 54, in Kerch — 48 and in Evpatoria — 42.
During the reporting period, the average age of newlyweds remained between 30-33 years, largely due to age couples, among which were: a 72-year-old man and a 68-year-old woman, a 71-year-old man and a 70-year-old woman, a 71-year-old man and a 73-year-old -year-old woman, 63-year-old man and 72-year-old woman, 70-year-old man and 74-year-old woman.
