Last week on the roads of Sevastopol there was an accident in which people received injuries of varying degrees gravity, including six minors: 2 pedestrians and 4 passengers.
In an accident on the Yalta-Sevastopol highway, the driver of a Renault car drove into the oncoming lane, which led to a collision with a Hyundai car. As a result of the accident, the driver and passenger of the Renault were injured. Due to the fact that the passengers of the car «Hyundai», including teenagers aged and 15 years old, while driving, they were wearing seat belts, and a 4-year-old girl was in a child car seat, they received minor injuries , — the traffic police of Sevastopol told the details of one of the collisions.
Within a week, inspectors revealed 45 administrative offenses, including 15 the driver drove a vehicle while intoxicated, 6 of which were repeated, for which criminal liability is provided , 45 drivers violated the rules for driving a pedestrian crossing, 12 drove into the oncoming lane in violation of traffic rules, 30 pedestrians crossed the carriageway in the wrong place.
In the coming week, Sevastopol will host preventive measures «Bacchus», «Tinting», «Search», «Beacon», «Carrier», «Moto», «Pedestrian crossing», «Drunk driver» and «Overtaking».
Today the All-Russian Road Safety Week starts, in which educational organizations of Sevastopol will take an active part. Its main task is to prevent accidents involving children and reduce the severity of their consequences.
According to the results of 8 months of the current year, with the participation of minors in Sevastopol, there were 62 traffic accidents, the number of children injured in them amounted to 73 no person died. In 15 accidents, children participated as pedestrians. In 24 cases, young passengers of vehicles were injured, two facts were registered with the participation of underage drivers of motor vehicles , — noted in the traffic police.
