Over the past weekend, firefighters from the State Institution of the Republic of Crimea “Fire Protection of the Republic of Crimea” were called in 14 times to extinguish dry vegetation fires.
The fire brigade on duty in the urban settlement of Kuibyshevo together with forestry and hunting staff extinguished a fire in forest litter and dry vegetation covering an area of 800 square meters in an open area in the Bakhchisaray district.
In the Feodosia city district, firefighters of the Primorsky settlement extinguished 2 fires in open areas. The areas of fires were 400 and 200 square meters.The fire department of the Nauchny settlement extinguished a fire on the territory of a private home in the village of Trudolyubovka (Bakhchisaray district). The area of the fire was 450 sq. m. There was a threat of the fire spreading to 2 residential buildings, but thanks to the prompt work of the firefighters, this was avoided.– the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea reported.
Units of the Fire Service of the Republic of Crimea were also called in to extinguish fires of dry vegetation in the Dzhankoy, Chernomorsky, Krasnogvardeisky, Nizhnegorsky, Sovetsky and Simferopol districts.
