Painting exhibition “Crimea. Ancient estates» opened in Alushta

In Alushta, at the Museum-Estate of academician of architecture Alexei Beketov, an exhibition of paintings “Crimea. Ancient estates.» As reported by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Crimea, the project “Together with Russia. Art of Crimea, LPR, DPR» was realized with the participation of artists from the VTOO «Union of Artists of Russia» project with the support of the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives and the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Crimea.
The exhibition features about 50 paintings depicting ancient estates of the peninsula: Massandra Palace, A.N. Beketov, the palace of Princess Gagarina, the Karasan palace, Stakheev’s Dacha — Villa «Otrada», the museum of the writer S.N. Sergeev-Tsensky and other objects.
The participants of the plein air donated to the Alushta Literary and Memorial Museum of S.N. Sergeev-Tsensky three paintings that will replenish the funds. Director of the Alushta Literary and Memorial Museum Svetlana Nemirovich thanked the artists for the gift and popularization of the architectural monuments of Crimea— reported the Republican Ministry of Culture.
Exhibition «Crimea. Ancient Estates” will last until February 16 (the Pushkin Card is valid).
