Parents from Crimea told what games their children enjoy

Roblox, Minecraft, chess, Monopoly, online and real football are the main preferences of modern children, while games with dolls, cars, etc. are becoming a thing of the past. In a survey by a service for finding high-paying jobs Superjob.ru Residents of Crimea with children aged 7-14 took part.

Children of 38% of parents are keen on computer games. The most popular of them are Roblox (15% of parents were able to name the game) and Minecraft (10%). Next come computer football, Tanks, Standoff 2 and all sorts of adventure games and strategies. Almost every fourth parent either could not remember what specific game their child plays or answered that their children play different games. Next in popularity are board games. Children of 19% of parents enjoy playing chess, Monopoly, card games, Lotto, Imaginarium, Scrabble. Sports games are a priority for children of every sixth parent, and the most common choice is football, basketball and table tennis.— the service’s press service notes.

«Catch-up», «hide-and-seek», «tag», cycling and other active outdoor games are popular among the children of every ninth parent. Modeling, «Lego», playing cities and riddles are also in the arsenal of modern children.

Only 5% of parents remembered role-playing games such as “mothers and daughters”, “to school”, “dolls”, and “cars”.

23% of parents are sure that their children do not play computer games at all, and 6% are sure that there is no place for games in their children’s lives and that their sons and daughters do not waste time, but draw, sing, dance, read books, etc.
