Parking in Yalta: What will change in the summer

Krympress reports:

She noted that Yalta was waiting for a high holiday season and an influx of guests, which is actively preparing.

And the issue with parking is especially relevant not only in the holiday season, but also daily. In this regard, today we are holding a meeting with the traffic police. There are a number of proposals, we will try in experimental form (implement — ed.), — said Pavlenko.

According to her, the Yalta authorities would very much like to limit the movement of transport in the city center, and sooner or later they will come to this, but now it is premature to talk about it.

We understand that the most important thing is convenience for people. And until we create equipped parking spaces in sufficient quantities, intercepting the so -called parking lots, we cannot afford it. Therefore, this season we come in with small local transformations, we limit ourselves to small ones, but, I am sure, effective solutions— said the head of the administration.

In particular, as part of the experiment at the parking place at the Spartak cinema, a public transport stop will be postponed, which will divide the parking space in two.

We separate the parking spaces with one and the other side of the divisors. Let’s see how this experiment will work within a few weeks to draw conclusions, whether this decision is approved, how effective it will be for everyday life— said the mayor.

It will become more difficult with parking in the area of the bus station at the site of the temporary market.

From the first days of June, a temporary new market is opened for the period of reconstruction of the old. Everyone knows about constant traffic jams in this place. We have an actually narrow neck there, and constant parking on the bridge makes it difficult to move to motorists. In this regard, we install traffic lights at a stop before a pedestrian crossing from the bus station, the 5th quarter. And also install a traffic light and organize a pedestrian passage from the side of the Moskovskaya Street— said the head of the administration.

At the same time, additional flat parking spaces will appear at the bus station: two near the upper station, on Moskovskaya Street, and below, on the road on Kievskaya Street, she added.

In addition, in various locations in the territory of the municipality, they implement a project for the arrangement of the so-called eco-parking.

These are small pockets where we provide a place for parking for cars for the convenience of residents. We are also now preparing a project on the Luxembourg rose in the city of Alupka, but there is also a lot of other things.— said the head of the Yalta administration.

In addition to parking lots, they will deal with some pedestrian crossings.

In particular, as part of the experiment in the center of Yalta, a not very popular transition near the Grape and Wine “Magarach” on Kirov Street, one of the main arteries where the cork is formed, warned Pavlenko.

Also, on Moskovskaya Street, pedestrians, unfortunately, are very fond of crossing the street in the wrong place, do not want to go down to the underground transition, which is specially created for this. We equip a pedestrian crossing. It will be very convenient for people directly from the stop, using the traffic light, go to the new market and go to Kievskaya Street— the mayor informed.

She expressed confidence that the residents and guests of the city will be able to feel the convenience of all the events that are being held with the onset of the summer season.
