CrimeaPRESS reports:
The Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol has completed the investigation of a criminal case opened against a 46-year-old resident of Patrenit, accused of possessing weapons and committing the murder of an acquaintance (part 1 of article 107 of the Criminal Code).
1 Art. 222, part 1 Art. 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
The Investigative Department of the city of Alushta established that the man, on the basis of a long-standing conflict over the boundaries of a land plot on Lambatskaya Street in Partenit, planned the murder of his 60-year-old neighbor. Late in the evening of March 31, he changed into pre-prepared clothes, put on gloves and a rubber mask, hid in an unfinished building in the neighbor’s yard, and, having waited for him, fired two shots at him from a homemade gun. Afterwards, along a pre-planned route, he moved a sufficient distance from the murder scene, where he changed clothes, disassembled the gun, and hid all the items in different places along the Uzen River.
As a result of painstaking joint work of investigators, forensic investigators and colleagues of the regional criminal investigation department, irrefutable evidence of the involvement of a resident of Partenit in the murder of a neighbor was found. Under the weight of the evidence presented by the investigation, the man admitted his guilt, giving detailed testimony as part of an investigative experiment, and indicating the place where the objects of the crime were hidden. A preventive measure in the form of detention was chosen for him— the Investigative Committee reported.
At present, the investigation of the criminal case has been completed. The necessary forensic examinations have been conducted, all investigative actions have been completed.
The materials have been sent to the prosecutor’s office for examination, signing of the indictment and further referral of the case to court for consideration on the merits.
