Participants of the FEZ of Crimea did not pay millions of rubles in customs duties last year
CrimeaPRESS reports:
And they did it right!
The amount of exemptions from customs duties provided to participants of the Crimean FEZ in 2023 exceeded 60 million rubles. This was reported by the press service of the Crimean Customs.
Such exemption from payments is completely legal. In 2023, 6 legal entities — participants in the free economic zone of Crimea — took advantage of this opportunity. They submitted 37 declarations for goods with the aim of placing them under the customs procedure of a free customs zone (FCZ). The total value of the goods exceeded 2.7 million US dollars. The amount of exemptions from customs duties and taxes when placing goods under the customs procedure of a free customs zone amounted to more than 60 million rubles.
In 2023, seedlings of grapes and fruit trees were placed under the FTZ procedure, and vehicles for the transportation of goods were placed for the first time. The volume of technological equipment for the wine and dairy industries has increased. The range of imported goods is typical for FEZ participants carrying out foreign economic activities in the Republic of Crimea– noted the head of the Crimean customs Viktor Kholichev.
