Participants of the subbotnik in Sevastopol eliminated 39 unauthorized dumps
Subbotnik dedicated to the upcoming Victory Day was held in Sevastopol. Employees of government departments, representatives of intra-city municipalities, municipal institutions, industrial enterprises, educational organizations, social institutions, activists and caring residents of the city came to clean up urban areas. Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev chose a slope for cleaning near the former Shayba checkpoint, not far from one of the entrances to Balaklava.
There has never been such a complete cleaning here, so for several decades, layers of rubbish, bottles, tin, bags and other things have accumulated. It just needs to be removed. Moreover, we are preparing for a great holiday — Victory Day, and the city must be clean and delight the citizens and guests of the city. In total, during today’s cleanup, its participants collected 730 bags of garbage, cleaned 27,457 square meters. m of the city, eliminated 39 unauthorized dumps. Also, work was carried out to dig in bushes, 1,500 square meters were whitewashed. m of borders and 124 trees.
As a reminder, the first subbotnik within the framework of the month of cleanliness was held on April 22. Participants of two subbotniks eliminated 66 landfills, cleared 118,457 sq. m of territory, collected 3,730 bags of garbage, dug 166 trees and 100 shrubs, whitewashed 1,500 sq. m of curbs and 124 trees, landscaped 18 memorial places and 3 playgrounds.
