A girl who tried to kill her partner was convicted in Armyansk.
The court found that in October last year, out of jealousy, a conflict occurred between a 23-year-old girl and her partner, during which the convict used a kitchen knife to strike at least 3 times in the area of the victim’s vital organs— said the prosecutor’s office.
As it was clarified in court, the man managed to push the defendant out of the apartment and close the door, which, along with timely and high-quality medical care, saved his life.
The court, taking into account the position of the state prosecutor, sentenced the defendant to 4 years in prison to serve the sentence in a general regime correctional colony. The verdict did not enter into legal force.
