PE in the Crimea: suspects are detained in intentional arson of relay cabinets on railway

Employees of the Crimean Linear Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia on transport in cooperation with colleagues from the regional UFSB of Russia and the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Republic of Crimea in hot pursuit detained suspects in arson of one battery and two relay cabinets between the Saki -Gromovka stations of the Republic of Crimea.
Information that there was a fire of devices used to regulate the movement of train trains came from the Saki on duty at the railway station. During the procedural audit, law enforcement officers found that the fire of the battery and two relay cabinets occurred due to the influence of an open source of fire on them, which led to the impossibility of their further use. As a result of the operational-search measures carried out by the employees of the Crimean LU of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia on transport together with colleagues from the regional UFSB of Russia and the CPE of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Republic of Crimea, two suspects of arson of men were established and detained in less than a day. They were a 31-year-old resident of Yevpatoria and a 30-year-old resident of the Saksky district. The accomplices did not deny their involvement in the commission of an unlawful act and gave confession. They said that they received the proposal to set fire to relay cabinets for the reward from the unknown during the correspondence in the messenger,-the press service said Crimean LU Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in transport.
The investigative department of the Crimean LU of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in transport against the suspects opened a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under paragraph “a” of part 2 of article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation «Terrorist Act». A measure of restraint in the form of detention was chosen by him.
