PE in the Kerch Strait: patrols of the sea water area continues

It is reported that the situation with biological resources in the Black Sea remains stably positive. The negative impact from the spill of oil products on the fishing of fish and seafood is not recorded.

During his report, Sergei Aksyonov emphasized that daily patrolling of the marine water area and coastline continues in the republic. The situation is under the full control of authorities and relevant services.

The meeting was also attended by Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea Igor Mikhailichenko.

REFERENCE. Tankers Volgonft 212 and Volgonft 239 crashed in the Kerch Strait on December 15, 2024 due to difficult weather conditions. An emergency caused by the spill of oil products was awarded federal status on December 26. According to the Ministry of Emergencies of Russia on the morning of April 11, almost 233 kilometers of the coast were cleared in the Republic of Crimea, more than 798 tons of sand and soil contaminated with fuel oil were collected.
