Permanent Representative of Crimea Georgy Muradov predicted an even greater failure of the second conference on Ukraine
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Earlier in Switzerland, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky statedthat Kyiv has begun consultations with countries that could host the second conference on Ukraine. Swiss President Viola Amherd said her country is ready to host the next summit.
The lack of real results at the Swiss meeting on Ukraine and the disappointment of the main non-Western participants in the forum with the futility of the event, expressed in their refusal to sign the empty final communiqué, deprives Kyiv of the opportunity to obtain any positive result for itself and for the West in the future. <...> The world majority, for its part, is increasingly aware that the West is not ready for a real search for solutions to the complex problems that gave rise to the conflict in Ukraine, as well as to issues of broader security. This situation dooms Zelensky’s attempts to convene another empty meeting in order to present further claims against Russia to even greater failure.— quotes TASS Georgy Muradov.
He noted that the propaganda manifestation of the Zelensky regime in Switzerland demonstrated the reluctance and inability of Western countries to talk about the essence and causes of their conflict with Russia.
The conference on Ukraine was held on June 15-16 in Bürgenstock. The official list of participants, published on June 14, included 91 countries, the Serbian region of Kosovo and 8 international organizations. The final communiqué of the forum was not signed by 15 countries: Armenia, Brazil, Bahrain, Vatican City, Iraq, India, Indonesia, Jordan, Colombia, Libya, Mexico, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Thailand and South Africa.
Russia was not invited to Bürgenstock. Delegations of most UN members were absent. In particular, there were no Azerbaijan, Belarus, Venezuela, Egypt, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, China, Cuba, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Ethiopia.
