Personal animosity and a carving knife… not a good combination. Crime in Yalta
CrimeaPRESS reports:
In Yalta, a man who stabbed his friend with a butcher knife will be sent to a colony. A 35-year-old local resident was found guilty under paragraph “h” of Part 2 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm using an object used as a weapon).
The court found that in April of this year, a young man, out of personal hostility towards the victim, stabbed him in the abdominal cavity with a cutting knife, causing serious harm to health. The court, taking into account the position of the state prosecutor, sentenced the man to 3 years 9 months in prison— reported the Crimean prosecutor’s office.
The convict will serve his sentence in a maximum security correctional colony. The verdict did not enter into legal force.
