PFR in Sevastopol: you can get or restore SNILS at the MFC

CrimeaPRESS reports:

The PFR in Sevastopol notes: you can get or restore the lost SNILS, or change personal data in SNILS not only in the PFR customer service, but also at the nearest MFC office.

Recall that SNILS (insurance number of an individual personal account) is provided to each citizen once, and is permanently assigned only to his individual personal account. SNILS is required to receive various public services, including in electronic form. When visiting institutions, you must present your passport and fill out a questionnaire. The issuance of SNILS is carried out in the «real time» mode. One of the parents can issue SNILS for a child up to 14 years old by presenting their own passport and birth certificate of the child. Children older than 14 years old with their passport can apply on their own , — the press service of the department notes.

If you lose your SNILS card, you can apply for a duplicate.

When changing the surname, it is necessary to change the personal data previously indicated in SNILS, since they must correspond to the data of the new passport. To do this, you need to apply for the exchange of an insurance certificate.

All changes will be made to an individual personal account, and the citizen will receive a document confirming registration with the same SNILS, but with a changed surname.

Upon receipt of the document, it is necessary to carefully check the personal data contained in it. If errors are found, immediately inform the specialist who issued the document.

The situation when SNILS contains incorrect personal data can lead to problems when assigning a pension or other social benefits, as well as when reporting by the employer.
