Police of Sevastopol: on the conditions for admission to educational organizations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia

Every high school student thinks about the question: “What profession to choose? And in which university to get an education? The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of Sevastopol invites school graduates to make a choice in favor of educational institutions of higher education of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. Candidates who passed the competition are enrolled as cadets and enjoy all types of benefits provided for employees of internal affairs bodies, and also receive monetary allowance from 25-17 thousand rubles, depending on the year of study. Education in educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia is free. The period of study at a departmental university is credited to the length of service in the internal affairs bodies (1 day of study for 1 day of service).

Graduates of educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia are awarded the special rank of «police lieutenant», qualifications according to the specialty received, and a state diploma is issued.

Citizens of the Russian Federation under the age of 17 years old, who have a secondary (complete) general or secondary vocational education, capable of serving in the internal affairs bodies in terms of their personal and business qualities, physical fitness and health status, successfully passing entrance tests based on the results of the unified state exam, passing additional tests in the profile subject and physical training.

The list of entrance examinations is determined by the educational organization of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia and may vary depending on the specialty or direction of training and the form of education.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of Sevastopol sends candidates for education to the following educational organizations:

• Volgograd Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia (Volgograd) in the specialties «Forensic examination», «Legal support of national security»;

• Voronezh Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia (Voronezh) with a degree in Information Security of Telecommunication Systems;

• St. Petersburg University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia (St. Petersburg), specializing in «Legal support of national security», «Ensuring law and order»;

• Moscow University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia named after V.Ya. Kikotya (Moscow) in the specialties «Ensuring law and order», «Economic security»;

• Krasnodar University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia (Krasnodar) in the specialties «Ensuring law and order», «Economic security»;

• Crimean branch of the Krasnodar University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia (Simferopol) with a degree in «Ensuring law and order», «Legal support of national security».

Applications for admission to educational organizations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia are accepted until April 1 2023 year.
