“Police Santa Claus” fulfilled the New Year’s wish of eight-year-old Yana from Sevastopol

CrimeaPRESS reports:

As part of the All-Russian campaign “Police Santa Claus,” employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate of Sevastopol fulfilled the wish of a young resident of the city.

On New Year’s Eve 2024, employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate of Sevastopol fulfilled the New Year’s wish of a young road user. Eight-year-old Yana always pays attention to the patrol cars of the State Traffic Inspectorate on the roads of her hometown. Seeing how traffic inspectors ensure road safety in any weather: in rain, snow, and sultry heat, the girl really wanted to get to know the work of traffic policemen better.— reported the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Sevastopol.

Before the holidays, the schoolgirl wrote a letter and sent it by mail to the State Traffic Inspectorate of Sevastopol with a New Year’s wish — to ride in a traffic police patrol car and get acquainted with the police service.

Having received the children’s message, the police officers could not stand aside and decided to make the girl’s New Year’s dream come true. From the very morning, a patrol car and, of course, gifts were prepared for Yana’s arrival. A short tour of the State Traffic Inspectorate was organized for the child, and then the young guest was met by the head of the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Sevastopol, police colonel Vyacheslav Selyutin.

The head of the State Traffic Inspectorate congratulated the schoolgirl on the New Year holidays, wished her to know and follow the traffic rules well, and presented themed gifts: a vest with reflective inserts, flickers, books for studying traffic rules and sweetsnoted the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The main gift was waiting for Yana in the courtyard of the State Traffic Inspectorate, where real special equipment and patrol cars were located. She was especially excited by the opportunity to sit in a real patrol car and learn about the equipment of official vehicles, sound and loudspeaker installations. The child did not hide his joyful emotions and sincerely thanked the Sevastopol traffic police officers for such an interesting, bright and unforgettable day.
