Ekaterina Dolgikh, head of marketing of the Avia Tutu direction:

On May holidays, Russians in classics choose convenient and affordable foreign directions, including neighboring countries. Minsk occupies a leading position due to the accessibility of tickets and the simplicity of flights without visa difficulties. Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan in the top, because this is due to the redistribution of tourist flow, as well as with trips to relatives of local people working abroad.

Türkiye, as always, is one of the most popular areas: Istanbul is popular as a transit hub and an independent tourist city, and the Antalya attracts lovers of beach holidays, in May the weather already allows you to swim the most daring. Tbilisi also constantly increases the number of Russian tourists, since a visa is not needed, but there is also a variety of nature (mountains, sea, forests), as well as gastrotourism. At the same time, ticket prices in Tbilisi and Istanbul are higher compared to Minsk and Baku, which is associated with a limited number of flights and high demand.

In general, the dynamics of booking shows a stable interest in foreign travel during the May holidays, and demand is distributed between cultural, beach and accessible directions without visas.
