From June 26 to July 5, the State Traffic Inspectorate of Crimea conducts the operation «Motorcyclist». The main objectives of the preventive measure are the prevention of accidents involving drivers of motor vehicles (motorcycles, scooters, mopeds, etc.), the prevention of traffic violations.
Special attention will be paid to the prevention of gross violations of traffic rules that contribute to the commission of an accident, including driving in a state of intoxication, without driver’s and registration documents, without a helmet, technically faulty, unregistered in the prescribed manner transport, with fake numbers of nodes (aggregates)— reported in the traffic police.
Employees of the State traffic inspectorate remind drivers of motor vehicles the main duties: it is necessary to move only in a fastened motorcycle helmet, use protective equipment; move with dipped headlights — this requirement applies to all types of vehicles, including motor vehicles; choose a safe speed, when performing maneuvers, observe the distance and lateral interval; when driving at night or in conditions of insufficient visibility, it is advisable to have objects with reflective elements on your clothes.
The State Traffic Inspectorate warns that in cases of driving motor vehicles by persons who do not have driver’s licenses, as well as those who are in a state of intoxication, the vehicle is detained and placed in a specialized parking lot.
