Products of Crimean agricultural producers will be presented at the Tastes of Russia Gastrofestival in Moscow

The products of the Crimean agricultural producers will be presented at the Tastes of Russia Gastrofestival in Moscow. This was announced by the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Crimea Andrei Savchuk. The event will be held from 7 to 16 July at Manezhnaya Square.

About three hundred manufacturers from almost all regions of our country will present their products at the festival. Crimea is no exception. The mega-platform has been operating in this format for the second year already. Let me remind you that these are the brands participating in the Tastes of Russia National Competition of Regional Food Brands, which was held in 2020 and 2021 to promote regional food brands and support small agribusiness. In 2020, this competition opened almost 500 brands from 79 regions of Russia. And next year, their number has already increased to 720. The competition attracted great attention and aroused interest among many residents of our country. They actively voted for their favorite products, chose the national brand. In 2020, our region was represented by the already famous throughout the country: «Yalta Onion», «Crimean Wine», «Crimean Baklava and Turkish Delight», «Crimean Seafood and Aquaculture», «Crimean Cheese». In 2021 and 2022, they were joined by Crimean Peach, Crimean Olive, Black Sea Oysters, Crimean Grape Seed Oil and Karaim Pie— the press service quotes the head of the Ministry of Agriculture of Crimea.

Crimeans were also among the winners: the Crimean Wine brand took 2nd place in the Look at the Light nomination in 2020. And the products of our other brands won the hearts of Russians.

This year, about 4.5 tons of delicious products from our agricultural producers will go to Moscow. The Republic will be represented by 4 brands: Crimean Cheese, Crimean Peach, Crimean Sweets, Grape Seed Oil. At the most delicious event of this summer, guests and residents of the capital will be able to not only see, but also taste all the delicacies. I am sure that the products of our Crimean brands will not leave indifferent even the most sophisticated gourmet. As part of the festival, a rich multicultural program is also planned — master classes and performances by artists from all over Russiathe minister notes.
