Project «Youth Border»: a schoolgirl from Crimea collects money for the front with a game on a saxophone

The final series of continuation of the documentary “Youth Border” appeared on the network. It was created together with the movement of the first. The author and presenter Lilia Abramova (Tatar FM) continues to talk about the stories of children and adolescents in the front -line regions, which by their example demonstrate how important the personal contribution to the approach of victory is.

The “Youth Border” project is dedicated to children who help not only participants in a special military operation, but also their countrymen who have fallen in a difficult life situation. The episodes of the first season gained more than 15 million views in total on social networks, having received great publicity in federal and regional media. In 2024, the project became the winner of the National Internet Content Award in the thematic nomination «Heroes of our time.» The start of the second season took place in 2025.

Last year, in the Youth Border project, we told 6 inspirational and places of touching stories about children who, with their actions, bring a common victory by their actions. In fact, there are thousands of such boys and girls from the front -line regions. They want to help our soldiers along with adults, and sometimes they get even better and sincere. Therefore, we decided to continue the cycle of doctrines about the young generation of Russians who are here and now participating in the fate of their country— said the author and host of the project Lilia Abramova (Tatar FM).

In the final episode, the audience will get acquainted with the 14-year-old Darina Zhidenko from the urban type of Black Sea. A schoolgirl is a talented saxophonist who uses her musical gift to help participants in a special military operation. Playing the embankments of Crimea, she collects funds for the purchase of products and medicines for fighters.

She sees how my friends die, sees how I feel about it. And when she said: «Mom, I want to help.» Honestly, I seriously did not perceive this at first, said that we will give you money and if you consider it necessary, you will transfer. I thought she would calm down. But she said that it was wrong and wants to earn herself — Shared the mother of the heroine Elena Zhidenko.

In the release, Darina told what feelings and emotions she experienced only starting to play the embankments:

At first it was scary. I did not have much experience, but I motivated to continue the reaction of people on the street. I seemed to get energy from them. I saw a return, saw their interest.

But I had to face with the disapproval of its position from some people.

They were not even offended by their word. It’s a shame that these people do not want to support our soldiers, do not want to help with something, — noted the heroine of the release.

The initiative of the schoolgirl, which began with a simple desire to support the defenders of the motherland, was an example of real civil courage and selflessness. The girl perfectly understands that the front needs the support of the rear. Now her dad shoulder to shoulder with other soldiers protects his homeland, grandfather and grandmother live on the line of fire. And Darina’s small charity contribution to the common cause can bring their meeting closer.

By tradition, the heroine received a gift from the project team and the first movements for selflessness and faith in victory — a ticket to the camp of the Artek International Children’s Center.
