Promotion “May! Labor is cool!”: May Day cleanup took place in Sevastopol

Student teams of Sevastopol took part in a community cleanup dedicated to Spring and Labor Day. It took place on May 1 at the Fisherman’s Wharf as part of the All-Russian campaign “May! Labor is awesome!” 55 members of student teams, governor’s school labor teams and youth volunteers took part in cleaning the area. In total, participants removed more than 50 bags of household and construction waste.

I sincerely believe that by participating in such events, we instill in our youth a work culture, which is undoubtedly correct– the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the head of the youth affairs department Marina Slonchenko.

The all-Russian action took place in 82 constituent entities of the Russian Federation and brought together about 50,000 activists from all over the country.

Also on Spring and Labor Day in Moscow at the International Exhibition and Forum “Russia” a festive procession took place, the operators of which were Russian student groups together with Rosmolodezh. The event was held under the slogan “May! Labor is awesome!” More than 5,000 people took part in the parade, including activists from Sevastopol.
