Prosecutor's office: in Sevastopol, more than 100 families cannot receive the keys to their apartments in the Ostryakovo housing complex

On behalf of the prosecutor’s office of the city of Sevastopol, the prosecutor of the Gagarinsky district, Alexey Kazakov, held an on-site reception of citizens — shareholders of the Ostryakovo housing construction cooperative. During the meeting, issues of completing the construction of a residential complex at the address: Sevastopol, st. Stepanyan, 9A.
This unfinished property consists of two apartment buildings. It is included in the federal Unified Register of Problematic Objects. The completion of the construction of the houses was planned before March 2014, but to date they have not been put into operation. More than 100 families cannot receive the keys to their apartments purchased under share participation agreements. 6 people applied for a personal reception held by the district prosecutor directly at the construction site. They were interested in the timing of completion of construction work and putting the house into operation, and issues of landscaping the local area. Together with the district prosecutor, his deputy Evgeniy Pavelchuk, representatives of the UNO “Fund for the Protection of the Rights of Shareholders of Sevastopol” and the contracting organization took part in the reception,” noted the press service of the Sevastopol prosecutor’s office.
During the reception, citizens received the necessary explanations and information about the progress of construction.
Employees of the prosecutor’s office constantly monitor the dynamics of the construction of this residential complex and systematically go to the work site. The restoration of the rights of shareholders remains under the constant control of the supervisory agency.
