Providing assistance in the Simferopol region: a woman went mushroom hunting and… got lost
CrimeaPRESS reports:
They searched all night.
On December 20, at 23:00, the Crisis Management Center received a message that a woman had gotten lost near the village of Donskoye (in the Simferopol region). Rescuers’ help is required.
The crisis management center organized an immediate response from the mountain search and rescue unit of the Specialized Unit of the Main Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations for the Republic of Crimea. Upon arrival at the scene, rescuers, together with employees of the State Institution of the Republic of Crimea «CRIMEA-SPAS», began efforts to search for the woman. It was established that she went into the forest to pick mushrooms and got lost. There was no mobile connection.
As a result of the search operation, it turned out that the victim suddenly became ill. Without waiting for rescuers on the spot, she constantly moved through the forest area, which greatly complicated the search— reported the emergency department.
After a long time and exploration of a large area, the woman was discovered only today. Using a stretcher, the victim was transported to a safe place and handed over to the ambulance staff.
