Public areas are being improved in Sevastopol

Sevastopol is actively landscaping the territories that won last year’s voting as part of the regional project «Formation of a Comfortable Urban Environment» of the national project «Housing and Urban Environment», initiated by President Vladimir Putin. To date, a site has been prepared for the installation of ramps, the installation of small architectural forms for children is nearing completion, in the process — preparatory work on the installation of engineering networks, installation of side stones, installation of underlying layers and tiling.

There are only seven winner territories of last year’s vote:

• green zone near house number 7 on Stepanyan street;
• green zone between house number 4 on Marshal Gelovani street and house number 87 on General Ostryakov avenue;
• square near school number 41 on Gorpischenko street;
• territory near the church in the village of Dalniy;
• Square of Veterans in Inkerman;
• park of the 100th anniversary of Kacha in the village of Kacha;
• green zone near house number 32 on Novikov street.

Some sites are already undergoing major repairs, while others are undergoing archaeological work.

For winning territories voting this year, by October, design and estimate documentation will be developed. Public discussions will also be held to take into account the views of residents on the improvement.
