Public organizations «Moms of Yalta» and «Crossing» — winners of the competition of the Presidential Grants Fund

Yanina Pavlenko, head of the Yalta city administration, congratulated the leadership and members of the organizations on the victory.
Both organizations are very active and have been selflessly helping people for many years. Congratulations from the bottom of my heart on this great achievement! — said Yanina Pavlenko.
She also said that for 7 years the NGO «Crossing» has been helping people who find themselves in a difficult life situation. There are a lot of directions in the activities of the organization: work with young people who are registered with the police, convicted and disabled. Assistance to large families, single mothers and pensioners, distribution of free meals. Plus — daily care for those who are in a shelter on the street. Bolshevik (about 40 people, including refugees). Branches of the organization are successfully developing in five cities of Crimea. And thanks to the grant, a primary care center will be opened already outside of it — in Genichesk, Kherson region.
The local public organization «Moms of Yalta» provides informational, psychological and practical assistance to pregnant women and mothers on maternity leave. Thanks to the grant, volunteers of the organization prepare free seminars and consultations, talks and meetings. In addition, they will carry out repairs and pay the rent of the premises. Plus, they will develop social networks and information channels of the organization so that every mom who needs help can get it, — notes the head of the Yalta administration.
In total, more than 300 public organizations are registered in Yalta.
