Pupils of the Artek Children's Center: “I feel very proud that I received a passport at Artek”

CrimeaPRESS reports:

As part of the program of the Russian movement of children and youth “Movement of the First” “We are citizens of Russia!” Artek residents from different regions of the country, who turned 14 during the shift, were awarded the first passports of citizens of the Russian Federation. Hero of the Russian Federation Anatoly Knyshov, representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Crimea and the First Movement, and First Deputy Director of the Artek International Children’s Center Elena Zhivoglyad took part in the ceremony. The event was organized with the support of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation.

Dear guys, today you receive the main document confirming the citizenship of the Russian Federation, the largest country in the world, which we are proud of and which we love. I want to wish you to be healthy and that all your dreams come true. Strive forward, love your Motherland and your family– the press service of the MDC quotes the Deputy Head of the Migration Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Crimea, Dmitry Nemirovich.

Addressing the Artek residents, Liliana Efremova, Deputy Chairman of the Council of the regional branch of the RDDM “Movement of the First” of the city of Sevastopol, said: “You are entering the New Year with new opportunities: you can receive grant support for your projects, get a job for the first time, open your own business or go to a big All-Russian event. From the First Movement, I would like to wish you to always take advantage of the opportunities that you have, and we will support you. Be the first in what you do and what you like.»

The guest of the ceremony was test pilot, Hero of the Russian Federation, Chairman of the interregional organization “Heroes of the Fatherland” of Sevastopol and the Republic of Crimea Anatoly Knyshov:

Every Artek resident who received a passport today will carry this moment and their stay in Artek throughout their entire lives. I would like them to always bring that charge of energy, patriotism, communication, and friends to new teams, to be proud that they live in our beloved, great Russia.

Congratulating the holders of their new document — a passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation, First Deputy Director of the Artek IDC Elena Zhivoglyad noted:

The passport ceremony today has a heroic character. I feel incredibly proud that together with our colleagues we were able to hold 9 events this year — children from more than 50 regions of our country were able to receive their first passports in a wonderful place, in Artek. I’m sure this is a historical event for you. I hope that you will remember this moment for the rest of your life, because here you meet new guys, here you make friendships, and most importantly, “Artek” remains in your hearts.

10 Artek residents from the Tula, Rostov, Kaluga, Tyumen, Kemerovo and Moscow regions, as well as the Republics of Tatarstan and Crimea, the cities of Sevastopol and Moscow received passports. Young participants in the ceremony noted that receiving a passport for the first time is a special event in the life of every teenager, which will be remembered for many years.

I feel very proud that I received my passport at Artek — I will remember this for the rest of my life. This is a special event, not everyone gets such an honor, so I’m very glad that I had this opportunity, – notes Grigory Krivorotov, town. Tisul (Kemerovo region).

As we enter adulthood, new opportunities open up for us. It is a great honor for me to receive a passport at Artek from the hands of Hero of the Russian Federation Anatoly Knyshov. The feeling is incredible. I will never forget this moment. I am filled with pride that I hold in my hands a passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation, emphasizes Kristina Istomina, town. Silver Ponds (Moscow region).
